Hello all! We have had an overwhelming response to our request for help in the superintendent search! We are no longer going to take additional applicants, but we very much appreciate your support. Very excited to have a wonderfully diverse group of people wanting to be a part of this very important committee. Please stay tuned, and volunteer to help out at your school levels. We always need good minds who have a drive to support our schools!
Good afternoon everyone!
We are sadly in the process of a new Superintendent search for MSAD 60.
Steve Connolly has been a great leader for us and we are happy for him that he will have a chance to hang out with his fabulous grandsons beginning July 1st. But for us, that means we have to roll up our sleeves and go through the process of reviewing applications and interviewing potential candidates.
The school board has charged a small board subcommittee to take on this task and that subcommittee is looking for a few folks to take part in the first round of interviews. We would like to add representatives from town residents as well as MSAD 60 staff and administration. We will be utilizing our student board reps to help us hear from our students.
How can you potentially get involved? Please fill out the attached form.
To be clear… this is not a first come first serve opportunity! We will take names, review the answers to the questions and TRY very hard to develop a group of folks who represent the district fairly. The deadline for submitting your name and questions is February 10th. We will follow up by February 14th with a notice to those who have been chosen. We appreciate your interest and hope you understand that we can only take so many folks! Thank you so much!
Susan Austin, Assistant Superintendent MSAD #60
