The Superintendent shared with the board a recap of the conversation he had with the Lebanon Selectman last week. He felt like it was a very positive meeting. He will be attending the North Berwick selectmen’s meeting on May 15th and is looking to get on the agenda with the Berwick selectmen in the near future.

The Superintendent shared with the board an update regarding a safety meeting that we held at Noble High School with many local first responders and our administrative team to bring everyone to the same place in what we’re doing around safety. What we really need to be thinking about is that in the very early stages of a crisis, preparedness is key and there are some small hardware installations we can do as well as some trainings with staff we can implement to help teach adults how to be prepared for these kinds of instances. We are doing a lot of work to increase our awareness of what our needs might be and how we can help make positive, empowering, changes so that staff can feel more able when dealing with difficult situations.
