Our Noble High School Odyssey of the Mind team has just won a place to compete at the world level at the University of Michigan. Yesterday they placed second in the state for their division! Noble has not won a place to compete at the world level since the 1990’s. The North Berwick PTO helped to get Noble back into this world wide competition 5 years ago and this is one of our original teams. The team includes; Ethan Chandler, William DoByns, Sam LaFrance, Mackenzie Lipe, Jordan Lister, Natalie Randall, and Maggie Sebert. They have been working together for four months with coach Martha Dobyns to put together this winning performance. Odyssey of the Mind is a competition that nurtures creativity, spontaneous thinking, teamwork, public speaking and performance, art, literacy, math and so much more. Noble should be very proud simply to have students that participate in Odyssey of the Mind; and now we can be overjoyed that we will be representing the state of Maine at the world level!
