FULL-SCALE EXERCISE IN NORTH BERWICK, MAINE

Note: This exercise will not impact school or the school kids, classes will not be in session

during this exercise.

Introduction

York County Emergency Management Agency, Noble High School (SAD #60) and The Town of

North Berwick Police Department, Fire Department, and North Berwick Rescue are sponsoring a

full scale exercise on Friday October 9, 2015 @ 388 Somersworth Rd., North Berwick, Maine

03906 from 11:30 AM – 3:00 PM. This exercise will provide participants with an opportunity to

assess capabilities, plans, policies, and procedures. It will focus on decision-making,

coordination, and integration with other organizations during an emergency incident at the high

school. The expected outcome of the exercise is to test the Noble High School Crisis Response

Guide and area response resources.

Scenario

In school emergency exercise to train students and staff; and to inform parents, the public and

remove students and staff when safe to a safe zone.

Participants

The following agencies and organizations will participate in the exercise:

  •  SAD 60 & Noble High School
  •  Local area emergency responders that protect Noble High School
